Nabin is member of several organizations at OSU and in Nepal. He is member of Xi Sigma Phi at Oklahoma State University; he is also a Life member of Bird Conservation Nepal, and an active member of the Nepal Student Association at OSU. Along with educational activities Nabin spends his free time traveling, hiking, listening to music, and sharing time with friends.

Nabin is shown in central Nepal in the photo above.

He came to the U.S. to get abetter education so he can help to conserve the natural resources of his country. Nabin chose OSU for its good reputation in Forest Biometrics and the pleasant environment for its students.

Nabin wants to acquire an in-depth knowledge of Natural Resources Management; therefore, his future plans are to pursue a PhD. After he graduates he would like to go back to serve his country. He wants to be a Natural Resources Management expert so he could contribute to the conservation of Nepal’s biological assets and serve underprivileged communities to uplift their living standards.

Nabin is the second child of his family. He has two brothers; his oldest brother lives in Virginia and the youngest lives in Nepal with his parents, he is finishing college.
